How to make a personalized acrylic lantern?

In this tutorial, we will show you how to sublimate on acrylic and do a personalized acrylic lantern.

First, Print out your sublimation design onto sublimation transfer paper. No mirror printing required.

Then, tear off the plastic protective film on the acrylic boar.Use heat transfer tape to attach the sublimation paper to the acrylic board(white side), make sure it goes exactly where you want, stick it firmly enough so it doesn't slide when pressed.

Warm up your heat press to 190 °C and set the time for 80-100 seconds

Press it in and adjust the pressure accordingly to get the best effect.
 

After 90 seconds, take the acrylic board out, and flatten the acrylic board while it is still hot, because the acrylic material will become soft in high temperature, and the flattening can maintain a good effect.

Then get cool down, finaly move the sublimation paper away.

Install the acrylic lantern, thread the chain through the holes on both sides and turn on the candle. A perfect lantern is completed.
